Prior to founding the company in 2009, he worked in Business Development with Modis, an IT Staffing firm. He was responsible for building the Baltimore Metro market for the company. He landed several blue chip accounts that took that market from non-existent to top producing market in a matter of 24 months. Scott grew up in Winchester, Virginia, the heart of the scenic Shenandoah Valley. He’s an avid cyclist, outdoorsman, and lover all things craft beer. While harnessing his appreciation for craft beer in his early 20’s, he received a Marketing Degree from Longwood University. In a previous (business) life, Scott worked with a Virginia based Homebuilder where he gained extensive knowledge in Sales Management, Strategic Marketing, Purchasing / Estimating, and Business Development. In 2008 and in need of a change of scenery, he packed up his possessions and made the move from Virginia to San Diego where he started a Tourism-based small business in San Diego’s Historic Gaslamp Quarter. That business is cranking along and allowing Scott to take on his next big project. Scott currently resides in San Diego with his wife Serra, and their two young boys, Ty & Colin.
Ed hails from the great state of Connecticut, growing up not too far from the birthplace of PT Barnum, which could explain his affinity for sales, marketing and being an all around Showman. Despite being born in North Carolina and growing up in “southern Connecticut” (yes, that’s a thing) Ed headed north for college to the frigid but beautiful University of Vermont, where he enjoyed creating volatile organic compounds as he earned his degree in Chemistry. Graduating unscathed, he decided to play it safe, stay away from the chem lab and take a job at an Internet start-up in Boston. This started his long career growing sales at innovative tech companies, from heading up sales & marketing at boot-strapped start-ups to those with $200mm in series A funding. Today he resides in Santa Monica, CA, where he enjoys getting out to the ocean and the mountains, and exploring Hollywood filming locations.
Táňa, a daughter of a pub owner, was born and raised in the Czech Republic, the country with the highest beer consumption per capita in the World. This gives her a unique understanding and appreciation for what goes into running a successful Pub as well as mature understanding of the different styles of beers. Táňa has lived in the U.S. for the past seven years, but spent the first five exploring and hiking the Pacific Northwest, where she focused on becoming a digital marketing ninja while studying at Bellevue College. While earning her degree she also competed in marketing competitions that resulted in her team being crowned National Champs. While in college, she worked as a bartender, event manager, and even quality assurance tester at Microsoft. When she’s not creating digital magic at PourMyBeer, she enjoys traveling, dancing, yoga, and reading (Not all at the same time, but that does sound fun to try). She spent 2 years in Chicago and recently moved to Colorado, where she continues fostering and volunteering at a local animal shelter. She’s also fluent in 5 languages – Czech, English, Slovak, Polish & Spanish.
Oliver grew up in the Northern Suburbs of Chicago (picture “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”). He went on to study at Miami University in Ohio, which is the first “Miami”, since Florida belonged to Spain when the school was founded. After college, he managed restaurants for Lettuce Entertain You, Inc. in Chicago. Seeking to fulfill an itch to live abroad and learn a new language, he joined the Peace Corps, serving in Nicaragua as a high school business teacher as well as helping small businesses and building schools in rural villages. Returning to the US in the depth of a recession, he joined a small medical software company, Intelligent Medical Objects. What started as a contract position lead to a full-time Sales Executive role. Over the next 7 years, the company grew from $4M/ year in revenue to $50M/ year. As the company was in the process of being sold, he took this opportunity to take a year off and travel through Asia. Travel, photography, family, friends, and food are all passions of his. His passion for all things Miami lead him back to the US, where he now calls Miami, Florida (the second Miami) home. He joined PourMyBeer as a Regional Sales Director and covers the Southeast/Northeast and Midwest. At his core, Oliver is an educator. He educated children and adults in Nicaragua the same way he educates prospective customers on the benefits of our hardware/software. Using past experiences and being open to new ideas helps to power a company forward.

Representing the Greek contingent on our team, William is the product of an entrepreneurial family that are proud owners of the Metro Bowl for over 61 years and counting. Another fun fact about William is that he and his wife Suzy spent a good portion of the ’90s booked for Wedding entertainment and DJ services. After he retired the turntable, he spent the next 3 decades in retail and manufacturing sales. He co-developed an inkjet refilling machine which he marketed and sold to the largest drugstore chain in the United States with sales exceeding $180 million. His knowledge and expertise of the self-pour space can be tied to his invention of the SmartBar, the world’s first totally automated self-contained bar.
Thomas has installed more self-serve beer systems than anyone in the World – well over 200 installations. Haley grew up in Newark, DE, and attended the University of Delaware. After spending her whole life in one state, she decided it was time to get out and moved to Philadelphia, PA. It was through her major at UD, Hospitality Business Management, where her love for the beverage industry developed. But it wasn’t until she earned a graduate certificate in Digital Marketing, when she realized she wanted to combine the two. Haley loves to write, create content, and has an eye for detail. When she’s not busy at work, she’s either baking delicious sweet treats for her friends and family or drinking her favorite sour beers!
Carl grew up in Pennsylvania, just south of Philadelphia, and graduated from West Chester University with a degree in Business Management. An avid automotive enthusiast, he has driven everything from a Lamborghini to a Russian Tank and even raced forklifts on the Daytona International Speedway. Once the internet became a thing, he started a web design and digital marketing firm to help small businesses grow their online presence. That led to a long digital technology career with an interesting mix of corporate and entrepreneurial ventures. In late 2020, after 13 years of building a successful B2B SaaS business, he decided to sell his company to a private equity firm to make room for his next challenge.
Duncan is the token Aussie on the team who brings his positive energy and can-do attitude into every situation. Originally a farm boy from Wagga Wagga, he attended The University of Wollongong before moving to Chicago full time. Currently, he lives in Sydney where he heads both the Australian and Asian Pacific markets. Outside of work hours, you’ll find Duncan experimenting with homebrew, surfing local beach breaks, or enjoying the outdoors with friends.
Our PourMyBeer soccer star comes from Sahuarita, AZ, and currently resides in Las Vegas. He has tons of mechanical experience from working in the medical field and installing x-ray machines. From an early age, his dream was to be a project manager one day which he managed to accomplish as early as the age of 21! Besides running the show for our project management, he is the real guru when it comes to the installation of PourMyBeer system. Justin believes in the value of hard work, and rather than relying on luck as many people tend to do in Vegas, he focuses on killing it at work and on the soccer field.
Cristina grew up in Westchester, IL, and went to Northern IL University. She is married with two boys of ages 3 and 6. They fill her days with joy and laughter. Ann grew up in San Diego, California, and she is currently a student at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Before Ann started designing, she mainly created drawings and paintings. Zach has always appreciated the experience that hot food, cold drinks, and great company create. While opening 2 family restaurants in Dallas, he filled every role required to operate a bar and kitchen. Then, he took his talents a few hours south to Austin for an automotive technology degree. Zach combined his food and beverage experience with mechanical aptitude and love for technology to find a perfect fit with PourMyBeer. When not advocating the self-pour revolution, he enjoys traveling, making music, and asking to pet your dog.
